Test SharePoint List Setup

1. Test SharePoint List Setup
This action starts a test function which examines the List Setup and displays a list of errors, warnings and information. The function is used during the Release of a SharePoint List Setup via Actions (Ribbon)/Release.

2. Release
This action allows releases the SharePoint List Setup. The release function starts the test function similar to Actions (Ribbon)/Test SharePoint List Setup. If the test function ends without error, General (FastTab)/Status is changed to "Released". The released SharePoint List Setup cannot be modified until reopening via Actions (Ribbon)/Reopen.
 
Important: Since April 2019 only "Released" setups are accepted by all NavSherpa features! Any List Setup with "Open" Status will not be shown in the Smart Tree and will not be available for any other features such as "Print to SP", "Start Workflow", internal functions in the NavSherpa Interface codeunit, etc. Also, all subordinate List Setups must be "Released" or the process will stop with error.

Reopen

3. Reopen
This action allows you to reopen the SharePoint List Setup. The reopen function changes General (FastTab)/Status to "Open". After that it is possible to modify the SharePoint List Setup.
 
Important: Since April 2019 there is a major change in this function. For more information follow the Actions / Release.
